This is a portion of a rendition of the Madonna of the Chair by Italian painter Rafael ca 1513-1514.
Porcelain image encased in Sterling silver. Back is fully enclosed in Sterling to keep dirt and debris out. We don't scrimp on silver! We captured the image from an antique Romanian prayer card in our collection and created this custom china. It has been rendered in minerals and fired onto the porcelain at 1500+ degrees. Permanently.
Pendant is almost 1 3/4" from top to bottom including the ring bail. Almost 1" from side to side.
