Fashioned like Love Tokens of days gone by, this dime has been retrofitted (and it is still spendable!) with an engraving of a little bird and "Lucky Dime." No two are alike. Dimes have been made with nickel and copper since 1965 to 2008 (those are the years we can do). So you may see a litle bit of the copper showing through now and again.
