Sweet decorative metal birdhouse mailbox! You will love this little piece. Use it inside and store notes or put it by the door for outgoing mail.
Does open and have a catch but there is no lock. It is a functioning mail box but I don't think it would stand up to weather.
Better used for storage or decoration. I used to paint them white and do a bird display. It would be really cute on an outer door with flowers and a little bird on it.
