A:
Hello Kathy! Good question! I am surprised we haven't been asked that before. The pearl is on a Sterling silver headpin. A loop is made in the top of the headpin so that the pearl will dangle from it. We point out that we only use Sterling, instead of base metal that some artists use for pearl and crystal beading.
