Easy Cinnamon Apple Crisp
Nothing says autumn quite like warm apples and cinnamon! This simple dessert fills the kitchen with the coziest aroma and tastes wonderful served warm—with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if you like.
Ingredients
6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup brown sugar, divided
¾ cup old-fashioned oats
½ cup all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons softened butter
Pinch of salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly butter an 8-inch baking dish.
Toss the sliced apples with the cinnamon and ¼ cup of the brown sugar. Spread them evenly in the dish.
Mix the oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, butter, and salt until crumbly.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
